Global Edition #1

so this is my second attempt of working out the good and the not so good stuff that happened last week. facing the bad (and sometimes even the good) is not easy, but it's something i want to do, so here goes it.

The Not So Good Stuff

The Diet
yeah. almost 3 months of being totally sugar and junk-free to try and rid my body of the excess candida, i fell off the wagon. majorly. but today i went food-shopping and have lots of healthy goodness in the house and tomorrow i start looking after the body again.

Spring Cleaning
i've been procrastinating on that one. my excuse is that we are moving out of here soon and will have to clean it all again anyway so surely it can wait and we are busy and have oh so much else to do. blah.

RSI
carpal tunnel, tendenitis. call it what you wish, it sucks and it hurts and it scares me.

The big R
it finally hit me. cubic-ville has cut 10% off my wages, with a clear message that we have to work harder for it. it will be a bleak few months ahead of me, and the fear that i will not have enough students in the summer to pay for studio rental is trying to take away all logic and enthusiasm from me.

The Good Stuff

The Diet
somehow i don't feel guilty at all about having a break from it. this is major for me, as i feel guilty about just about anything. so yay for guilt-free chocolate and ice cream and chocolate ice cream!

Dance
i coreographed a song for our duet number at our spring showcase and it rocks. i will try to have decent footage of it to post here. and my solo coreo is coming up quite nicely too.

RSI
even though it sucks and hurts a LOT, it has forced me to learn how to rest. it's a whole new world to me, this whole sitting around massaging my arm and R-E-S-T-I-N-G. i run a very high risk of getting addicted to this resting business...

so this is it from me. do join in the tradition if you feel like it
